Secret Curriculum
Public school should provide our children an education in the basics, free from political ideologies and agendas. Unfortunately, political ideologies and agendas are currently being expanded in public school curriculums while proficiency in basic skills is diminishing.
If you think this hasn’t happened or won’t happen at AUSD you are sadly misinformed. Online teaching occurring during mandated school shutdowns exposed ideologies and agendas in the classroom that are contrary to parent’s values. All staff and volunteers at AUSD need to be directed to focus on the basics and not on political ideologies and agendas. As a school board member, I my goal is to ensure that staff and volunteers comply with a curriculum that is free from any political or ideologies and agendas.
