As a Rocklin, Placer County resident since 1991, and like many other grandparents, we have seen a shift towards the negative in education K-12. It's important that all Placer County cities work together and support each other's communities. We need to insure that our future generations are receiving the best education available. Placer County wins when all cities demand education exellence as a high priority. Families kept together, communities working together, and sharing our best practices in education creates success. I have known Jayson Wedge for over a year. Many citizens during the Covid shutdowns were, and still are very concerned about our children's education and safety. Staying connected, informed, and networking with Jayson Wedge has been very helpful during these Covid unknowns. I thank Jayson for reaching out to Rocklin residents, and sharing his thoughts on community involvement. Jayson is family man actively involved in his children's education. Jayson and his wife understand the importance of all children receiving the best education possible. Jayson understands it's our civic duty to be involved in our local elections, and to personally know our local representatives. It takes strong ethical people to stand up to the majority rule. When the majority rule doesn't have our children's best interest in mind, we need people like Jayson Wedge. One just needs to read the legislation passing through the State Capitol and D.C., to understand that we need strong, fearless voices of reason and sanity to protect our children and educators. Our leaders need communication skills to openly, and sincerely bring people together. Only through debates and understanding, can problems be solved. School Board Members need to listen to our teachers, the parents and legal guardians as their concerns are voiced. The people in daily contact with our children are in need of our community support. Jayson understands this need for open communication. Career politicians that place their advancing careers above the well being of their community and our children's education need to be replaced. Political pressure to vote a certain way should always take a back seat when negociating what is best for our children. We need strong leaders who aren't afraid to be a lone voice when it comes to protecting our children. I proudly endorse Jayson Wedge for AUSD 2022. Sarah Rose, retired property manager
I met Jayson early last year when he started to head up our FreedomCo meetings, of likeminded individuals that respect our country and its Constitution, in Auburn. I found that he is a 'family first' individual and a hard worker with a Christian faith that guides his path in life. He is a straightforward person who will ask the right questions of those whose opinions and beliefs differ from his. Jayson appears not to be confrontational to others but handles them with respect and courtesy. In closing I believe Jayson will always be in the forefront of parent's rights when it comes to their children's education and letting children be children without government interference.
Jayson Wedge is one of the finest men I know. He is a man of high moral integrity and dedication to our community and especially insuring that our schools offer our children the highest quality education.
Jayson has been - and continues to be - a leader in Placer County, fighting for our freedoms and our Constitutional rights. In the last few years, we have seen government, on all levels, expand beyond the limitations stated in our state and federal constitutions. Jayson continues to fight against this tyranny. Our children will be molded by what they are taught in school, as well as how they are taught. Will our children grow to love our country and support our constitutional rights, or will they hate our country and each other and ultimately bring our country to its knees? The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. It is critical that we have a leader on the school board that will make the right decisions that will affect all our children and to preserve the values our country was founded on. Jayson is that leader.
I have known Jayson for over 15 years. He is a humble man who I know will have the the best interests of the students and the community as his priority. He is a man that never gives up on his goals and I know he will pursue this perseverance for the students and the community of Auburn. VOTE WEDGE!
Jayson is a hard working and dedicated leader in Auburn. He walks the walk when it’s time to make change in our community, and he is willing to stand for kid’s education in ensuring that the focus is on a robust education. I support Jayson for AUSD.
